Hoosier Chess Academy runs chess clubs at the following:

University Elementary School

40-80 students - FREE - Open only to University Elementary students - UES Championships open to ALL each May

Childs Elementary School (possible future)

FREE - Open only to Childs Elementary students

Fairview Elementary School (possible future)

FREE - Open only to Fairview Elementary students

Classes

Hoosier Chess Academy runs chess classes at the following:

PK-12, casual, beginning level (BISCC): 1st Sunday of every month, beginning August 2024 - $10/session, FREE for some -  1:30-3:30pm - 20-minute instructional period - Interactive activities - Good for children who are interested in learning how the pieces move and other fundamentals

Grades 3-12, intensive, intermediate or advanced level (PETRO): 2nd Sunday of every month, beginning January 2025 - $40/session, FREE for some - 1:30-3pm - 20-minute instructional period - Interactive activities - Good for children who have experience playing chess and are serious about the game - USCF membership highly recommended for participation

Grades 3-12, USCF 1000+, bootcamp, advanced level (NIMZO): 4th Sunday of every month, beginning January 2025 - $60/session, FREE for some - 1:30-3pm - Two 20-minute instructional periods - Interactive activities - Must be serious about and eager to improve skill and rating - USCF membership required (minimum rating 1000)
